About the Role
The GRACE Research Programme Manager will coordinate all phases of this Alzheimer’s Society funded study including co-production and piloting new resources, pilot studies, service planning and implementation. They will set up sites for participant recruitment including those in the NHS, manage Patient and Public Involvement and line manage one or more the GRACE Research Assistants. The post holder will be responsible for liaising with a variety of stakeholders (including people living with dementia, family carers and professionals). The post is based on the Whitechapel Campus at QMUL with occasional travel to research sites across the UK.
About You
We are looking to appoint a Research Programme Manager for GRACE who will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the programme over its duration in collaboration with the PI, Prof Claudia Cooper, Co-PI, Dr Jessica Budgett and other senior members of the team. This is an ideal role for a team player who is looking to transition from a post-doc research role in dementia or a similar progressive condition into research management or someone with a background or interest in dementia and/or intervention studies who has previous experience of research project management.
