The Marketing & Entrepreneurship Department delivers a wide portfolio of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, including a new BSc Digital Marketing launching in 2026/27. Teaching is delivered across Birmingham, Aston London and online.
As part of our continued growth at Aston London, we are seeking to appoint a Teaching Fellow in Marketing on a two-year fixed-term contract. This is a teaching-focused role, contributing primarily to undergraduate and postgraduate Marketing modules at Aston London, with occasional teaching in Birmingham. The postholder will also provide student support and contribute to academic citizenship at the London campus.
You will hold a good first degree and a Master’s degree in Marketing (or a closely related discipline), along with relevant professional and teaching qualifications. You will have experience of teaching and assessing within degree programmes to a high standard, with clear evidence of positive impact on student learning. Experience of teaching at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level is essential, as is experience of supervising undergraduate and/or postgraduate dissertations. The ability to maintain a visible and professional on-site presence at Aston London is required.
Appointments at Grade 9 will additionally require evidence of leadership in teaching, such as curriculum development, programme leadership, or mentoring of colleagues, and a contribution to the strategic development of Aston London provision.
The postholder will report to the Head of the Marketing & Entrepreneurship Department, based in Birmingham.
