The London College is a long-established provider of HNC, HND, and degree-level programmes, with a strong track record in widening participation and access to UK higher education. The College holds a TEF ranking and maintains professional accreditation with QAA, JBM, IET, and CMI. We have an exciting opportunity for a talented and experienced non-executive Vice-Principal to join the College.
The Vice-Principal will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and vision across the operations of the college, driving cultural and organisational change with an impact that extends across the entire academic provisions and partnerships. The student experience will be at the heart of everything you do.
The post holder is also required to work closely with colleagues in partner institutions and with external partners, in line with strategic objectives to comply with our regulator’s requirements.
The post holder also has shared responsibility with SMT colleagues for leading with innovation and uniting teams under one vision, and this role provides a unique platform to influence and share the direction of our quality team and academic provisions.
The Vice-Principal will be responsible directly to the College CEO and will participate in a portfolio that includes Organisational Development, ICT and Digital Transformation, Health and Safety, and Risk Management.
Preference will be given to applicants with extensive experience and a successful track record in the implementation and maintaining OfS and other HE regulatory bodies conditional compliance. It is envisaged that applicants must either hold a similar position at a UK institution or currently holding a Vice-Principal position at HEI.
The position will be full-time on-campus 5 days per week (37.5 hours per week).
Qualification: PhD with extensive HE administrative experience in a similar position.
