About the Role
- This is an exciting role within Digital Technologies where you will initially be working with a project team involved in achieving enhanced Timetabling functionality including the implementation of a new system.
- Following the implementation of the project, you will be the technical lead for all timetabling capability. You will understand the product(s), and the environment that they operate, and use this understanding to proactively advise future improvements and provide excellent technical support.
- Previous experience of timetabling is essential for this role. You will either come from a timetabling background with a keen interest and good competence in technology or have had previous experience of specific timetabling technologies in a Digital Technologies/IT setting within Higher Education.
- Corporate Applications is a diverse team with an excellent understanding of products that are critical to the University and as a senior member of the Application Specialist team, you will be interested in getting involved with wider team activities.
- This role is based at our City Site, with a hybrid working model (minimum two days per week on campus).
- Occasional out-of-hours work may be required to support system maintenance.
