Role Description
Applications are invited for a postdoctoral position in Number Theory to work on a project entitled “The density of rational points near manifolds and applications” funded by an EPSRC grant held by Professor Victor Beresnevich. The post can be taken up from the 1st of March 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter. The applicants are expected to have a background in an area of Pure Mathematics, and those with a background or experience in number theory or related fields are especially encouraged to apply. You should have completed a PhD in Mathematics or an equivalent experience by the start date of your appointment.
