About the role:
The NIHR Imperial BRC is a 5-year biomedical and clinical research infrastructure award from the Department of Health and Social Care, to support translation of scientific discoveries from Imperial College London into the clinic for patient benefit, through the hospitals within Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust (ICHT).
As a Research Programmes Officer, you will assist in the delivery of BRC-funded research initiatives (funded either centrally or through our Themes), as well as the various ‘horizontal’ programmes of activity within the BRC: training, industry, and patient & public involvement and engagement (PPIE), and joint working with other NIHR-funded infrastructure programmes at Imperial. The role will require establishing good working relationships and partnerships with Principal Investigators, NHS clinicians, College research staff, and departmental managers
What you would be doing:
You will undertake administrative and office coordinating duties as required, such as organising committee meetings, workshops, and public events. Working alongside BRC Research Programme Managers, you will support a small number of Themes ensuring project finances are managed appropriately and that delivery of outputs and objectives are on-track. You will be responsible for sourcing, capturing and disseminating evidence of research impact, which will help shape the strategic direction of the BRC. You will be responsible for collating all data (EDI, publications, clinical trials, research studies etc) necessary to contribute to submission of all relevant reports to the NIHR (National Institute of Health Research).
