The section of Marketing, Student Recruitment, and Admissions brings together the main areas involved in leading the University's student recruitment as well as strategic positioning and profile. Engaging with students, staff and stakeholders, we promote the University's excellence in research and education, and ensure its profile is communicated in a consistent way. Duties of the Role
The successful candidate will be part of a team responsible for delivering the University’s international student recruitment, conversion, and recruitment events. Duties will include representing the University at higher education exhibitions internationally, giving presentations and advice on a wide range of HE topics and developing relationships with key recruitment stakeholders, including schools, colleges and other third-party providers and supporting on-campus UK events such as Open Days,. The post-holder will be required to work closely with colleagues across Marketing and Admissions as well as academic departments to ensure an informed and efficient approach to student recruitment activity.
The post holder will work on a full-time basis and be required to undertake travel around European/international travel (approximately 12 weeks per year). The post holder will also be required to work some weekends and evenings, as required, to support broader recruitment activities such as open days and offer-holder days.

Skills and qualifications required
The post-holder will hold a degree or equivalent level of qualification or experience, as well as an interest in, and knowledge of, current issues in the higher education sector, including funding sources.
The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience in public speaking. They will be motivated and proactive, working flexibly and to tight deadlines, both independently and as part of a team. The post-holder will have experience of organising events for a wide range of audiences and demonstrate excellent organisational and administrative skills.
