Opportunity Overview
We are currently seeking a Lecturer in Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems to develop and deliver high-quality teaching material across a range of modules or short programmes. The successful candidate will contribute to the planning, design, and development of programmes and will be expected to engage in scholarly activity and undertake high quality research.
The postholder will perform as a Lecturer in Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems, fostering further development of this important teaching and research area within the school through addressing topics aligned with the fields of geography, environmental management and sustainability.

Our programmes carry accreditation from various professional bodies, including the Institute of Sustainability and Environmental Professionals (ISEP), the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) and the Royal Geographical Society (RGS). Current undergraduate teaching is centred around Geography and Environmental Management. Postgraduate teaching includes programmes in Environmental Assessment and Management, Sustainability, Health and Global Environments and Safety, Health and Environment.
