We are looking for a Procurement and Supplier Management Specialist to join RSH in a new, organisation-wide role. You will be our only dedicated procurement and supplier management specialist, combining hands-on delivery with practical advice and strong working relationships across the business.
At RSH you’ll be joining an organisation that gives you the opportunity to make a difference to people’s lives, regulating a sector that houses over four million people across England.
About the role:
As the Procurement and Supplier Management Specialist you will sit in the Finance team and provide practical, proportionate procurement support across RSH. You will be the central point of contract for procurement and supplier management, helping teams shape requirements, choose the right route to market and undertake procurements.
You will also work with contract owners to track supplier performance and develop key relationships, ensuring that services meet expectations.
About you:
As the successful candidate, you will bring strong procurement and supplier management experience gained within a public sector environment. You will understand procurement rules and be able to apply them practically.
This is a role for someone who enjoys being hands-on. You will be comfortable running procurements end to end, keeping records and helping colleagues make good decisions. You will work collaboratively with a wide range of colleagues including legal, data protection and project management.
You will have excellent communication and organisation skills, with excellent attention to detail and will have a good understanding of supplier management including managing contracts and relationships.
Flexible working and an informal chat:
We welcome applications for part-time working, with a minimum of 21 hours per week.
If you would like an informal conversation to understand the role and whether it is a good fit, please contact careers@rsh.gov.uk to arrange a call with the recruiting manager.
Why work at RSH?
We offer a fantastic range of benefits including a 35 hour working week, 33 days annual leave and access to the Civil Service Pension Scheme.

Location
We operate a hybrid model of working with a mix of office and home working, as well as offering a range of flexible working arrangements. Most colleagues work predominantly remotely.
This role can be based out of RSH’s offices in Manchester or Leeds.
Benefits
At RSH, we offer a competitive salary along with a range of excellent benefits; full information is available here.
The salary for this role is a spot salary within the given range, which will normally be the minimum of the range. There is no incremental progression through a pay scale. Annual salary reviews are determined by the government pay award.
