We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Finance and Compliance Officer to join the University’s Research and Innovation (RI) Directorate. The post will report to the Research Funding Manager and work within the Research Support team.
As Project Finance and Compliance Officer, you will provide specialist support for key strategic projects. This will include providing professional project support to academics and funders throughout the full project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with funding guidelines and maximising grant funding awarded, through to post-project closedown.
With significant experience of project administration within the Higher Education and Innovation funding environment, you will have demonstrable knowledge of research funding mechanisms, research funding body rules and regulations, including claim and audit submission. You will also have excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Outlook, Teams and advanced Excel.
Educated to degree level or with significant equivalent experience and a Level 3 qualification or higher, you will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work to strict deadlines and meet targets.
We offer an excellent employment package including hybrid working, blending a mix of remote and on-campus working (dependent on work duties).
