There are two exciting opportunities within the Liverpool University Biobank of the Technology, Infrastructure & Environment Directorate for 2 Grade 4 LUB technicians to join the team to help support, deliver and grow a strategically-important biobanking service for the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences.
We are looking for people with excellent technical knowledge and practical skills to work with a team of LUB technicians in order to deliver high quality human sample processing, storage and analysis services for University of Liverpool researchers as well as external collaborators and service users.
The successful applicants will report to the Senior Biobank Technician and work with the LUB Leadership Team to deliver best practice biobanking solutions that will enhance clinical research at the University.
You should have 3 x GCSE’s at grade C (4) or above (or 3 x functional skills qualifications level 2 or equivalent), including English Language, Mathematics, and Information Technology / Computer Studies or practice experience in a bioscience lab or biobank research.
