Here at the University of Greater Manchester, we are proud of our growing reputation as a student focused University. With our strategy of “Teaching Intensive, Research Informed” we are committed to offering our students the best experience possible. Due to our ongoing growth, we are now looking for a Professional Development (T&L) Practitioner to join our team. On a day-to-day basis, you will be leading and carrying out teaching observations of staff and developing CPD, to ensure that the quality of education aligns with higher education quality frameworks (Advance HE, Ofsted, Apprenticeship Standards, Office for Students), aiming for continuous enhancement.
The successful candidate should be able to clearly demonstrate their understanding of relevant HE inspection frameworks and how this translates to demonstrable quality of education within the classroom for inspection. They should, by hands on experience, also be able to demonstrate how, via CPD training, they have influenced and maintained quality of education within an educational establishment.
Please submit your expressions of interest (no greater than 2 sides of A4) indicating why you would be suitable for the role, and include a brief summary of your relevant experience and qualifications.
Please refer to the job description and person specification for more information.
