Manchester Metropolitan University is an ambitious, modern institution with a strong focus on applied learning, industry engagement and student success. We are now looking to appoint a Tutor in Product Design to join our Department of Engineering and support the delivery of high-quality teaching and student experience.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong subject knowledge in engineering product design who is passionate about teaching, supporting students, and contributing to a collaborative academic environment.
About the role

You will work closely with academic colleagues, professional services staff and, where appropriate, external partners to ensure a positive and inclusive student experience. The role may also involve supporting students on placement and helping to maintain strong relationships with placement providers.
Alongside teaching, you will be encouraged to engage in scholarly activity, reflect on your practice, and contribute to the ongoing development of programmes and the wider academic community.
About you
You will have:
You will normally hold a relevant postgraduate qualification or equivalent professional experience. A recognised teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one) is essential. Professional or doctoral qualifications, experience of blended learning, and engagement with industry or external partners would be advantageous.
How to apply
