Your ability to be proactive, solution focused and responsive to changing situations will be beneficial as you organise setup, calibration, and operation of equipment as well as provide hands-on technical support during practical sessions, assessments, and research activities.
Having organisational and team management skills will also be important, as you line manage and coordinate a team of technicians, which will include scheduling, task allocation, and professional development.
All of this will be underpinned of course by your excellent understanding of Health & Safety regulations and other legislative standards in a technical environment, ensuring all facilities are maintained in compliance with regulations and relevant legislative standards, taking a lead role in ensuring that risk assessments, and safety protocols are up to date and consistently implemented.
This is an excellent opportunity for you as an experienced Healthcare Technician looking for the next step in your career. If you have the skills and experience, particularly in a Higher Education setting, then we would love to hear from you.
