The team/The department
Infrastructure, Strategy and Change
Our Digital Technology Service (DTS) has been configured not only to deliver excellent IT services, but also to drive major IT development and change. It is a large service focused on enabling, implementing, and supporting a wide range of technology to meet the needs of the University community.
This technology must be affordable, high quality, resilient and meet a broad range of needs.
DTS is made up of a Digital Architecture team and a large Digital Strategy area, which includes Digital Delivery (Applications; Cloud, Networks, and Infrastructure), IT Support and Digital Change. The service is located across two centrally located buildings on our City Centre campus.
DTS works within a unified professional services model, ensuring that we can take a consistent and coherent approach to technology across the university. We work in partnership with other professional service areas such as Transformation, Student & Academic Services, and Estates & Facilities, and engage external expertise as necessary.
Within DTS, the Digital Change team leads on technology-focused strategic change across the University through its team of project managers, analysts and test managers. Digital Change is responsible for ensuring projects maintain quality standards and works closely with DTS teams to deliver technical solutions which meet business requirements.
