The Business Analytics and Information Systems Department conducts teaching, research and engagement activities in various aspects of analytics and IS/ICT.
There is a thriving teaching and learning, business engagement, and research culture in the Department, which has a reputation for being rigorous, relevant, and entrepreneurial. As part of our growth strategy, we are seeking individuals with a demonstrated ability to contribute effectively to teaching, research and departmental activities in the field of Business Analytics. We welcome discussions with prospective candidates who have interests in specified areas of business analytics such as data mining, machine learning and prescriptive analytics.
You will have a good quantitative first degree, or equivalent, as well as a higher degree in a relevant academic discipline. You must also be able to demonstrate an emerging pedagogical path of effective and innovative research, teaching, and learning. We are especially looking for people with an ability to take initiative and work effectively across teaching, research and engagement activities.
