The School of Arts and Humanities is seeking an IT Technician to join the School-wide IT team. The team provides a friendly and efficient support service to institutions as well as complementing local IT resources. You would be the first point of contact for IT support in all aspects of computing and AV.
This role would suit someone who is already working in IT at the University of Cambridge and understands the University systems. We are seeking someone with strong customer service skills and experience, good interpersonal skills, and the ability to work well in a team. An understanding of a range of operating systems including Windows, Mac, Android, and iOS clients is essential. You should be educated to A-Level standard or with equivalent understanding and skills.
This role offers you an opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in IT and customer service, while contributing to the success of the IT Team.
The School of Arts and Humanities consists of eight faculties and three other institutions with 650 staff members. The IT Technicians work across the School supporting several institutions including, Modern & Medieval Languages and Linguistics, Classics, AMES, and Divinity. There will also be opportunities for you to work with other faculties and services within the University.
