This exciting role is for a Senior Lecturer in Computing and Digital Apprenticeships to teach on our undergraduate and postgraduate computing programmes as well as on our three-year Digital Technology Solutions Professional Apprenticeship degree programme. We are particularly looking for talented individuals with experience of: 

  • Front-end web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, front-end frameworks – e.g. React, Angular, Vue)
  • Back-end software development (e.g. Java, C++, C#, Python, Node.JS, PHP, SQL, Postman or equivalent)
  • Mobile app development, including Progressive Web Apps (e.g. React Native, Flutter, Swift, Kotlin)
  • Cloud Computing (AWS or Azure)
  • Cyber Security and InfoSec
  • Modern Software Engineering practices (including Agile/Scrum, Test Automation, CI/CD)
  • Technical / Digital leadership

Teaching will be face-to-face with some online delivery
