Summary of the role
We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced Senior Manager to lead and grow the University’s portfolio of commercial projects comprising Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTPs), Consultancy projects and Commercialisation of University Facilities.
The successful candidate will be expected to develop and manage their own portfolio of KTP projects and business relationships as well as providing oversight, support and direction for the wider activities of the team. They will be highly organised with strong commercial acumen and a track record of delivering commercial projects within a higher education establishment, research institution or industry context. Well developed negotiation, problem solving and project management skills are essential to the role which requires excellent leadership skills; a responsive, professional, customer focussed approach and a “can-do” attitude to managing multiple projects simultaneously.
