Our Citizen Student Strategy strengthens this commitment, reinforcing our position as a purposeful, ambitious university known for its quality and meaningful contribution to society.
We are evolving our teaching model through a new academic framework, enhancing our digital learning environment, and reshaping professional services to harness technology and streamline processes for the benefit of our learners and colleagues. This is a period of exciting transformation as we modernise our offer, strengthen our academic portfolio, and reaffirm our values.
As part of our refreshed strategic vision, we are now seeking to recruit an exceptional individual to the new role of Pro Vice-Chancellor Education & Student Success. Reporting directly to the Vice-Chancellor, this is a significant leadership opportunity for a creative, forward-thinking and accomplished leader to influence the institution at the highest level, ensuring a best-in-class educational experience across all campuses and modes of learning.
You will provide strategic leadership for learning, teaching, assessment, academic quality, employability and access & participation, ensuring outstanding, inclusive, and future-focused student success for all learners. The role will work closely with Executive colleagues, Deans, all academic leads, professional service leaders and external partners to embed excellence, strengthen academic standards, and champion a culture where every student thrives.
We are seeking a visionary strategist, capable of articulating and delivering a compelling, values-driven approach to a modern, ambitious and progressive educational experience. You will bring sustained senior academic leadership experience, with a track record of enhancing key educational metrics and outcomes, ensuring regulatory confidence and delivering impactful change at scale. High levels of personal and professional credibility and integrity will be essential, alongside a commitment to advancing our distinctive mission and purpose.
This executive position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful and enduring contribution to the University’s future, shaping educational excellence and student success for today’s learners and future generations. If you have the vision and capability to lead this important agenda, we would be delighted to hear from you.
