About Us
The Faculty of Life Sciences (FLS) Education Administration and Student Experience (EASE) team is made up of four areas: Clinical, Programmes, Research, and Student Wellbeing & Casework. The team is led by three Education Managers and supported by Education Coordinators across the teams.
About the role
We’re looking for brilliant and proactive Education Administrator to support the administration and delivery of the Critical Care programme in the Faculty of Life Sciences.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone keen to develop their skills and build a rewarding career within the new FLS Education Administration and Student Experience (EASE) team.
We’re looking for organised and student-focused individuals to support our undergraduate and postgraduate programmes within the Faculty of Life Sciences. Providing professional administrative support and information to our students, the post holder will work closely with external partners along with our students and esteemed academic staff. You’ll play a key role in managing the academic cycle, from induction and timetabling to assessments and exam boards, while providing responsive support to students and staff. You’ll work closely with academic leads and NHS partners to ensure smooth programme delivery and may also contribute to student engagement activities such as socials, field trips, and open days. There’s also scope to support improvement projects using Excel and Power Apps, and to collaborate across the wider team when needed. If you’re proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about supporting students, we’d love to hear from you !
Key Responsibilities
The post is available until 4 January 2027 in the first instance.
Working Arrangements
This is a hybrid role. Flexibility is essential, as there will be peak periods, particularly around student-facing activities, when increased on-campus presence will be required.
We will consider applications to work on a part-time, flexible and job share basis wherever possible. This appointment is subject to UCL Terms and Conditions of Service for Research and Professional Services Staff. Please visit https://www.ucl.ac.uk/human-resources/conditions-service-research-teaching-and-professional-services-staff for more information.
This is a varied position where no two days are the same. You’ll have the opportunity to work independently, plan your own workload, and make decisions, while being fully supported by your Education Coordinator and the wider team. Flexibility and adaptability are key, as the role involves a broad range of activities and can respond to rapidly changing priorities.
You’ll be part of a highly supportive environment, with access to training and development opportunities to help you grow your skills across your chosen areas.
About you
You’re a proactive, solutions-focused individual with strong organisational skills and an excellent eye for detail. You’re confident working both independently and collaboratively, and you bring a positive, patient, and professional approach to everything you do. Strong communication skills are essential.
