We are seeking applicants with experience in or across the following area:
Systems Engineering
Systems Engineering at Loughborough University is recognised for excellence in research and teaching. We are seeking an outstanding colleague to join the School of Mechanical, Electrical, and Manufacturing Engineering as a Senior Lecturer or Lecturer in Systems Engineering to support teaching and to develop a research programme that complements and supports existing programmes within the School. Key themes are associated with Artificial Intelligence, safety-critical systems and assurance. We are seeking a candidate with a focus on Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE). They will be familiar with modern Systems Engineering practice and have a research track record in AI, machine learning, and Software Engineering that addresses system reliability and assurance.
The successful candidate should have experience of SySML and/or UML and will be expected to contribute to, and develop, teaching of MBSE modules.
