The Role
Northeastern University – London (NU London), in collaboration with Northeastern’s Intelligent Networked Systems Institute (INSI), College of Engineering (COE), and the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE), invites applications for academic appointments at the levels of Assistant, Associate or Full Professor in AI or Quantum Information Processing .
We seek outstanding candidates whose research and teaching focus on one or more of the following broad areas, with applications to telecommunications and beyond:
This position will play a crucial role in establishing new cutting-edge research and educational programmes at NU London, and in strengthening Northeastern’s global network of campuses in the UK and the US. The successful candidate will build and maintain strong ties with industrial and academic partners across the UK, the European Union, the US, and globally.

About the Institute
The Intelligent Networked Systems Institute (INSI) at NU London is a newly established transatlantic research hub focused on next-generation connectivity and intelligent computing and learning systems. The INSI London Hub acts as a bridge between the US and Europe, advancing interdisciplinary collaboration across continents. INSI is dedicated to addressing pressing challenges in telecommunications, artificial intelligence, quantum information, and information processing—all with the objective of creating a more efficient, connected, and secure world.
