We are seeking to appoint an Academic Programme Officer- MSc Health Service Improvement and Evaluation on a Maternity cover. You will be working closely with Academic Programmes Manager in a growing centre.

In this role, you will coordinate and oversee all administrative aspects of the programme, supporting students from admission through to completion while acting as the main point of contact with colleges and central University teams. You will provide academic and pastoral support, contribute to course planning and governance, assist with timetabling, teaching organisation, assessments and examinations, and manage admissions, funding, and placements. Working closely with Finance and HR, you will coordinate payments, budgets, visas, and recruitment activity, oversee course documentation, digital platforms, quality assurance and Tier 4 monitoring, organise course events, and line-manage an Academic Programmes Assistant in support of effective programme delivery.

It is essential that you are educated to A-Level standard or equivalent qualification with previous administrative experience in a university student-based role. You will have a knowledge of student, course administration and GDPR. You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build effective working relationships with colleagues at all levels. You will also be adaptable and reliable with a flexible approach to working. Experience of staff management and development, including setting priorities/objective/targets and developmental plans are highly desirable.
