About the role
We are looking for a Receptions Assistant with excellent customer service skills to join our Residence Experience team. This role would be suited to someone with a friendly personality and someone who is eager to create memorable experiences for our students and commercial guests.
With over 5,000 bedrooms on campus and in the city, we operate multiple reception hubs for students, staff, visitors, and commercial guests. Being part of this team, you will work across all receptions on a rota. These roles require a level of flexibility and availability to work across a variety of locations and hours, 7 days per week between 8am – 10pm.
About you
The post holder will be the first point of contact, acting at all times in a welcoming and professional manner, respecting both diversity and equal opportunity. The key purpose of the role is to carry out receptionist duties and respond immediately to general enquiries, by phone, email and in person. They will enjoy working with a wide variety of people and be able to build good working relationships with other University departments and key stakeholders.
