About the Role
Queen Mary University of London has a vacancy for a Postdoctoral Research Associate, to work in the area of organ-chip technologies supporting Prof Martin Knight’s research group. The post is based in the School of Engineering and Materials Science.
About You
This Postdoctoral Research Associate Role will join the multidisciplinary research group of Prof Martin Knight, focusing on the development, validation and use of organ-chip models. We are particularly focused on the development and use of joint-on-a-chip models including synovium, bone, cartilage, fat along with inflammatory components.
The post will provide technical and supervisory support to the research group of PhD students and other Postdoctoral Research Associates, and play an active role in writing new research grant applications in this area, as well as conducting their own organ-chip research projects in coordination with Prof Knight.
The successful candidate will have a PhD or equivalent experience, substantial practical experience of musculoskeletal organ-on-a-chip technology and a track record of winning grant funding and high-quality research publications.
