Applications are invited for a Clinical Studies Officer, to join the NRS Mental Health Network team in Edinburgh.

The NRS Mental Health Network is funded by the Chief Scientist Office to support high quality mental health research in Scotland and is hosted within the University of Edinburgh.

This post is full-time and the post holder will work on the delivery of commercial and non-commercial mental health clinical research studies supported by the Network within NHS Lothian. The Network has recently relocated and are now based within the Chancellor’s Building on the BioQuarter Campus at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh, however there will be a requirement to work across the NHS Lothian area.

We would expect you to be Educated to degree level in a relevant subject, have Experience of working in a mental health setting and of working in clinical research. You will have excellent communication skills and an ability to work as part of a team.

This is a fixed-term post until September 2026, with likelihood of extension.

This post is full-time (35 hours per week); however, we are open to considering part-time or flexible working patterns. We are also open to considering requests for hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis) that combines a mix of remote and regular on-campus working.
