The School of Medicine, Pharmacy and Biomedical Sciences are seeking to appoint a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Pharmacology, ideally qualified to PhD level (Senior Lecturer) or Postgraduate level (Lecturer) and with relevant postgraduate experience. While the disciplinary background is flexible (e.g. Pharmacology, Physiology or a related science), expertise that bridges fundamental Pharmacology with translational or clinical application - such as drug discovery, development or clinical evaluation would be particularly welcomed.

The successful candidate will have a record of publication in peer-reviewed journals and, ideally, experience of securing research funding and will contribute actively to the School’s strong teaching and research profile.

The postholder will teach across a range of programmes including BSc (Hons) Pharmacology, MPharm (Hons) Pharmacy and BSc (Hons) Biomedical Science, and will demonstrate a commitment to excellence and innovation in teaching, learning and assessment. You will be collaborative, motivated, and keen to contribute to a supportive academic environment.
