- THE ROLE -

The postholder will work with the Primary Investigator and Co-investigators to deliver the research outcomes on a project funded by Sight Research UK, which aims to optimise a novel vision test for glaucoma. They will conduct research in the field of optometry/clinical visual psychophysics on human participants, contribute to data analysis, and assist with the dissemination of findings leading to high-quality scientific publications. They will also contribute to the overall research work and outputs of the Centre for Optometry and Vision Science (COVS).

We may create a 12-month waiting list for the same or similar roles within the Department/Faculty. The University reserves the right to extend the waiting list across the University if required for certain posts.

- ABOUT YOU -

The postholder will be required to have:

- A degree in a related subject area (e.g. Optometry, Healthcare, Psychology, Biomedical Sciences).
- Experience of undertaking vision/psychophysics research and/or clinical experience in a related field (optometry, ophthalmology, or other eye-care related profession).
- The ability to manage and analyse quantitative data using appropriate software.
