This is a fixed term appointment for 12 months and is available as a secondment.
The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) is seeking a Safeguarding Project Officer to play a crucial role in supporting the School to ensure the safety and well-being of our diverse School community, including students, staff and visitors.
The post-holder will be based in the LSE Executive Office, reporting to the Safeguarding Policy and Implementation Manager, but as safeguarding is a cross-School strategic priority, they will work widely with colleagues at all levels to support the School to meet its safeguarding obligations.
The post-holder will play a key role in supporting the work of the School’s safeguarding management and governance committees and will provide high-quality, comprehensive administrative support and coordination of School-wide safeguarding activities, which are overseen by the Safeguarding Review Project Board.
They will work with colleagues across academic departments and professional services divisions to support the effective delivery of the project outcomes and compliance with external requirements.
