The CiMAT (Centre for Imaging Measurement and Additive Technologies) at WMG have a strong track record in applying and developing novel processing in X-ray Imaging.
This role will support the development of laminography within our TESCAN X-ray CT scanner.
Codes and methodologies have been developed over a period of research which now require consolidating.
The aim is to have an operational laminographic pipeline for all our engineers, and produce presentation material to support the new service and research provision.
About You
An engineer who has worked in the field of X-ray Computed Tomography. They should have experience of laminography and reconstruction using open-source codes such as CIL.
Preferably they will have operated and programmed a TESCAN X-ray CT scanner previously.
