2x Teaching Fellow Positions (2 years fixed term contract) starting 1 September 2026
An opportunity has arisen to join our teaching and learning team in the Department of Statistics at the University of Warwick. This opportunity has arisen due to increasing student numbers with over 1000 undergraduate students across the four years of our undergraduate programmes.
As a Teaching Fellow, you will have a leading involvement in delivering support classes and tutorials, and grading assignments for undergraduate students. You will also contribute to a range of other teaching and learning activities, possibly including lecturing, personal tutoring, outreach and open days. Up to 20% of your time will be allocated to personal professional development, for example to pursue a research programme in Statistics or for ongoing professional development of your pedagogical skills and knowledge.
About You
Successful candidates will have a PhD in Statistics, and experience of teaching small groups.
You will have a sound understanding of Mathematics and Statistics at University level. You will be enthusiastic and committed to delivering a high-quality learning experience.
You will be able to work independently and as part of a team, aiding in the delivery and development of a busy teaching programme at Warwick. You will have good planning, time management and communication skills, and able to engage with students during their learning experience to facilitate effective learning.
