Are you ready to help shape the future of digital delivery at a world-class University? The University of East Anglia is seeking a talented Project Manager (Digital) to join our Strategic Programmes and Change Division. Be part of a forward-thinking team that values collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
As part of the Strategic Programme Management Office, you’ll manage a portfolio of digital projects that support UEA’s strategic goals. From scoping and planning to implementation and evaluation, you’ll oversee the full project lifecycle ensuring outcomes are delivered on time, within budget, and with measurable benefits.
You’ll work closely with stakeholders across the University, including IT teams, academic departments, and senior sponsors, to ensure projects are aligned with user needs and strategic priorities. Your ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage risks, and communicate effectively will be key to your success.
You will have proven experience managing IT/digital projects and multiple initiatives simultaneously; strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills; excellent organisational and analytical abilities; a proactive, agile mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and collaboration; and a degree or equivalent experience, ideally with professional project management qualifications. Experience in the higher education sector is a plus.
This full-time post is available from 16 March 2026 on a fixed term basis to 31 July 2029.
UEA offers a variety of flexible working options and although this role is advertised on a full-time basis, we encourage applications from individuals who would prefer a flexible working pattern including annualised hours, compressed working hours, part time, job share, term-time only and/or hybrid working. Details of preferred hours should be stated in the personal statement and will be discussed further at interview.
Further information on our great benefits package, including 44 days annual leave inclusive of Bank Holidays and additional University Customary days, can be found on our benefits page.
Closing date: 24 February 2026
