European University Cyprus (EUC) plans to submit an application for the establishment of EUC Athens, a non-state, non-profit Legal Entity of University Education (NPPE). The initiative aims to create a globally competitive university campus in Athens that will contribute meaningfully to the enhancement of quality, internationalization, and outward-looking engagement of higher education in Greece, building on EUC’s proven academic excellence and its successful international expansion.

About the School of Medicine

The School of Medicine at European University Cyprus is an education- and research-intensive academic School offering a fully accredited, competency-based six-year medical programme grounded in patient-centred care, clinical excellence, and biomedical research. The programme meets the highest European and international standards and prepares future physicians for leadership roles in clinical practice, research, and medical education. Students benefit from modern laboratories, advanced simulation centers, and digital learning platforms, supported by a strong research culture and international academic standing, further enhanced by the participation of Nobel Laureates as Honorary Faculty Members. Invitation for Submission of Applications

Any appointments arising from this call will be made following regulatory approval and in accordance with institutional priorities and academic needs.

Applicants’ Qualifications & Documentation:

• PhD holder with relevant expertise  (note: ideally a minimum of three (3) years of postdoctoral university teaching and research experience is required for entry level posts.)
• Fluency in English and Greek (for programs delivered in Greek)
• Eligibility to work within European Union
