About the role
Are you passionate about delivering outstanding customer experiences? We’re looking for a Residence Experience Receptions Supervisor to join our team. This is a 12-month fixed-term, full-time role (36.5 hours per week) requiring flexibility to work five days out of seven between 7:00am and 10:00pm.
We have over 5,000 bedrooms, primarily occupied by students during term time, and which operate as a hotel for short stays and conferences during the summer months. We run several receptions both on campus and in the city to serve these customers. This position will predominantly involve supervising our City receptions.
The Residence Experience team is responsible for ensuring outstanding service is delivered across all customer groups. In this supervisory role, you will supervise core and casual staff members and assist with their training. You will work closely with the City Experience Coordinator to ensure all City receptions deliver a consistent level of service. You will need to confidently communicate with customers in-person as well as on the telephone and via email. This position also entails establishing strong working relationships with other University departments and key stakeholders.
About you
You will have the ability to work in a fast paced environment with conflicting priorities. You will need to have previous experience in a customer-focused role and be able to demonstrate times that you've provided excellent customer service.
