We're looking for an experienced SITS Developer to join our Academic Systems team.
You'll collaborate with fellow developers, wider IT Services teams, Registry Teams and stakeholders across the University to design, develop, test, and enhance the student record system.
About the Role
We are looking for someone with strong technical skills in supporting and developing the SITS student record systems. Experience of working in the higher education sector and related systems would be an advantage, you should have the ability to build strong relationships and work effectively with other teams to help deliver key projects and improvements.
Duties and responsibilities will include working with stakeholders across the organisation to deliver and support a range of SITS processes and developments. Projects that are in the pipeline include the migration of users from client into eVision, implementation of additional SITS modules following the implementation of the new HEFS licencing model - as well as lots more opportunities besides. We are building integrations connections between SITS and several other systems including TimeEdit Timetabling, Curriculum Management systems, and a Digital Degree Certificates Platform.
You will have excellent technical skills and knowledge along with a demonstrable capability of developing within the SITS suite of modules and products. An excellent communicator, you will have a successful track record of delivering technical implementation projects as well as good technical skills in SITS SRL, T-SQL, scripting, etc. Experience of implementing STU Talk, Automation Manager, E-Vision, IPP, Document Manager, etc. would be an advantage although training will be available for the right candidate.

Additional Information
The salary range shows the potential maximum pay progression in addition to any annual inflationary increase to your pay. Please note that our default position is to appoint into the lower end of the range, unless there are exceptional circumstances.
