Applications are invited for the above post to work in the Faculty of Engineering across two Nottingham campuses (Jubilee Campus and University Park). The successful candidate will join a team providing professional administrative support to members of academic, research staff and PGRs as part of the Faculty Operations team.
Also working alongside the rest of the team and closely with specific Departments, the role holder will cover some reception responsibilities, manage incoming mail to the shared Operations inbox, supporting with purchasing, bookings, logistics for meetings and visitors, as well as monitoring multiple faculty processes, supporting on-going improvements to the service offered by the Operations Team. This is a new team, less than a year old, and the successful candidate will report to an Operations. Being able to build these relationships and understand the work performed throughout the team will be a key asset, and we encourage our team members to question current processes and be willing to challenge the status quo
You should have experience in a relevant role, you should also have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work on your own initiative.
Excellent IT skills are essential (MS Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook), experience of other web-based software would also be an advantage.
