Field Ecologist with knowledge of survey, habitat assessment and consultancy
The University of Reading is one of the UK’s leading universities for research into the environmental sciences. This post will sit within the Ecology and Evolutionary Biology Division of the School of Biological Sciences. We investigate the living world at all scales: from genes to individuals, from populations to ecosystems, from the deep past to predictions of the future. We offer successful degree programmes, including MSc Ecological Survey Skills with Placement, MSc by Research Entomology, BSc Ecology and Wildlife Conservation and BSc Zoology. We also support a vibrant body of post-graduate research students.
The appointee will be a highly motivated ecologist with plant identification knowledge who will to contribute to the teaching within the School of Biological Sciences and carry out associated administrative duties within the School.
