Shape the future of digital learning at one of the UK's top Russell Group universities.
As Head of Product (Education), you'll own the roadmap for our education technology portfolio, spanning our Virtual Learning Environment, student records integration, and assessment platforms - systems that directly impact students and academic staff daily. Reporting to the Assistant Director for Product Delivery, you'll define the product vision aligned with University strategic objectives, lead a team of product and delivery specialists, and work directly with academic departments to ensure our education technology supports and enables excellent teaching and outstanding student experience.
Who We're Looking For
We're seeking an experienced product leader with a track record of delivering large-scale education technology in HE settings. You'll need strong expertise in accessibility standards, user-centred design, and managing complex system integrations.
This role sits at the heart of IT Services' transition to product-led delivery, launching January 2026 - you'll maintain delivery momentum whilst fundamentally changing how we work. If you understand academic calendars, assessment cycles, and the dynamics between students, academics, and professional services, and can establish credibility with senior stakeholders across a federated organisation, we want to hear from you.
What We Offer:
We are dedicated to exploring flexible work arrangements that benefit both the individual and University. You will become part of the IT Services team during a transformative phase, where your insights will play a crucial role in improving planning and service improvements.
