And now we have an exciting opportunity to join us as a Student Administration Officer! We have six permanent posts available and two fixed‑term posts to cover secondment: one fixed-term until 12 January 2027 for career break cover, and another fixed-term until 05 February 2027 for maternity cover.

We are currently piloting a four-day working week which allows our colleagues to work 32 hours over 4 days week. ABOUT THE TEAM AND THE ROLE
Our Student Administration Team is at the heart of the student experience at the University of Sunderland in London. We work collaboratively to ensure every student’s journey from enrolment through to graduation is smooth, efficient, and supported by exceptional customer service. The team thrives on accuracy, attention to detail, and a shared commitment to delivering processes that make a real difference to students and staff alike. You’ll be joining a friendly, professional group that values innovation, teamwork, and continuous improvement, all while maintaining the highest standards of compliance and service delivery.

As a Student Administration Officer, you will play a key role in managing and developing core administrative processes that underpin the student lifecycle. From maintaining accurate records and supporting enrolment to administering assessments and results, your work will directly impact the quality of the student experience. You’ll use systems such as SITS, E-Vision, and Canvas to deliver efficient services, respond to complex queries, and provide clear guidance to students and staff.

ABOUT YOU
You’ll bring proven experience in administration and a strong customer-focused approach, ideally gained in a busy, multi-stakeholder environment. Highly organised and detail-oriented, you can manage competing priorities without compromising on quality. Your interpersonal skills will enable you to build productive relationships with colleagues and students, while your IT proficiency, particularly in Microsoft Office will support your ability to work efficiently.

Assessment Centre expected to be held in our London offices on 10 March 2026.

If successful after the 1st stage, you will be invited to an interview with panel which is expected to be held on 12 March 2026.
