As a Research Regulatory Compliance Assistant you will facilitate the administration activity of the University of Leeds (UoL) Sponsor Office. This work includes supporting compliance with the legislation and best practice standards that govern research falling under the umbrella of the UK Policy Framework for Health and Social Care. On a daily basis you will liaise with a wide range of Clinical, Academic and Support staff to ensure that all aspects of the QA and governance processes are carried out accurately and efficiently. This is an excellent opportunity to support a varied research portfolio of research, gaining experience within a busy team responsible for regulatory compliance within a clinical research environment.
You will work within the University of Leeds Sponsor team. For clinical trials involving investigational medical products (cTIMPs) you will work across a shared portfolio of trials with Leeds Teaching Hospitals Trust (LTHT). You will additionally provide administrative support to for the non CTIMP research and medical device trials within the UoL sponsor portfolio. As required, you will provide administrative support for other areas managed by the research regulatory compliance team
To be successful in this role you will have excellent administration and Microsoft Office skills developed within an environment where a high attention to detail is essential. You will have effective organisational skills, an ability to work to tight deadlines and a proven ability to work flexibly across multiple projects, managing your own workload.
