The School of Pharmacy is seeking a Lecturer in Pharmacology and Therapeutics to join the Pharmacology Division. For this teaching-focused post, the successful candidate joining our team will deliver high-quality teaching across our undergraduate Pharmacy (MPharm), BSc Pharmacology, and Physician Associate Studies (MPAS) programmes. The appointee will also engage with related teaching and administrative duties, including (but not limited to) module convening, assessment of coursework and examinations, supporting academic tutees, and recruitment activities. There will also be opportunities to undertake appropriate professional development.

The successful applicant will have:

  • A PhD in an area of Pharmacology, Health Sciences, Biomedical Sciences or a related field, or an equivalent clinical qualification.
  • Experience of small and/or large group teaching, assessment and feedback at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level.
  • Strong knowledge of pharmacology, biology and/or medical sciences.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team.
