CU London was established in 2017 to provide high quality, student centric, career focused higher education. It operates through one of Coventry University’s wholly owned sister companies (Coventry University College Ltd.) and is supported by the wider group. CU London has two campuses in London; CU London Dagenham and CU London Greenwich.
The Role
At Coventry University Group, we focus on innovative, student-centred learning that prepares graduates to make a real difference in the NHS, local authority services, private health provision, third-sector organisations, and community settings. Our courses blend theoretical foundations with practical application, covering key areas such as health promotion, social policy, leadership in care, empowerment, ethical practice, and contemporary challenges in health and social care delivery.
We are recruiting an enthusiastic and experienced Associate Tutor to join our dynamic team in delivering high-quality teaching on our popular BA (Hons) Health and Social Care programme (and related pathways). This role will join our academic team who are subject specialists focused on delivering student centric education, which is active, social, applied, and inclusive within our vibrant and varied education environment.
Within the role you will be responsible for developing your subject and curriculum area ensuring that students receive an exceptional learning experience. This role will play a key role in helping to attract and retain students through cross campus working and cocreation of relevant and modern curriculum.

Our Successful Candidate
We welcome applications from individuals with relevant professional experience in health, social care, community work, leadership, or related fields. You will be educated to masters degree level in an appropriate subject, if from a professional background a good honours degree and appropriate professional qualification and/or membership. If you do not already hold a teaching qualification, you will be willing to acquire one.
You will have experience of teaching at a FE/HE level or proven ability to be able to teach at this level. You will also be able to demonstrate your experience of supporting student success, with the ability to deliver across a broad curriculum area, demonstrating specialist knowledge and facilitating advance study in your subject area. From your previous roles you will also have knowledge and experience of curriculum design and producing teaching and assessment materials.
Key skills for the role include a proven ability to deliver effective, engaging teaching and assessment. You will have excellent communication, teamwork, and organisational skill and a dedication to continuous professional development and employer/student-aligned curriculum.
