The Role
We are seeking a Management Accountant to support the University Group’s financial and operational objectives through high-quality financial reporting and insightful analysis. Working within Financial Planning and Control team, you will play a key role in informing decision-making and driving continuous improvement.
Supporting the Senior Management Accountants and the Finance Performance Partners, this role will be responsible for ensuring management accounts, budgets and forecasts represent up to date information.
Key duties of the role include the following:
Our Successful Candidate
You will hold a professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or have equivalent experience, with strong management accounting expertise in areas such as budgeting and forecast preparation along with management accounting and project costing. You will be confident in analysing and presenting financial information, have excellent Excel skills, and be able to prioritise workloads to meet deadlines.
Experience in the Higher Education sector and knowledge of Agresso would be advantageous but is not essential. You will be proactive, organised, and an effective communicator with the ability to work well as part of a team.
