We seek to appoint healthcare professionals to join our paramedic team and to contribute to the provision of high-quality teaching within the School of Health and Wellbeing. Teaching primarily across modules on the pre-registration paramedic programmes, including apprenticeship and under-graduate pathways. You may also be asked to teach on relevant post-registration CPD courses. You will need to be committed to high academic standards and enhancement of the student experience, contribute to the development of the faculty’s portfolio of courses, linking with external partners, and the generation of external income for the university.
You will be educated with a bachelor degree or equivalent and have completed, or be willing to work towards, a master’s. You will hold current HCPC registration HCPC as a paramedic practitioner and have significant clinical experience. Experience of teaching in a clinical or academic setting is essential and candidates with a research profile are welcomed.
You will be supported to complete the post-graduate certificate in education as a mandatory requirement. A range of other CPD courses are available for you to study.
