About the role
The Faculty of Arts & Humanities wishes to appoint a Lecturer in Spanish. Located in the Department of Languages, Literatures and Cultures, the purpose of this role is to provide teaching and research in the literature, film, media, performance studies or cultural studies of twentieth- and/or twenty-first-century peninsular Spain. The postholder will be expected to offer teaching in modern peninsular Spanish cultural studies at undergraduate and postgraduate level, with the opportunity to develop new modules in their fields of expertise; they will also contribute to team-taught modules and language teaching, and to the administration of the department.
This is a full time post (35 hours per week), and you will be offered an indefinite contract.
