About the Role
As a Building Fabric Technician, you will be at the forefront of maintaining Oxford’s world-class estate, delivering both reactive and planned maintenance across a wide range of buildings. You will carry out repairs and maintenance across the estate, with a particular focus on carpentry tasks including door/window repairs, shelving, office alterations, and furniture installation.
You will work closely with the Building Fabric Team Leader and other DLO colleagues to prioritise tasks, coordinate support from other trades, and ensure all work meets safety, quality, and customer service standards. Using our CAFM system (Planon), you will record and track progress, ensuring transparency and efficiency across all maintenance activities.
This role offers the opportunity to develop your technical expertise and contribute to the smooth running of one of the world’s leading university estates, while working as part of a collaborative and skilled team committed to excellence in service delivery.
