The Department
The HR & OD department comprises four key areas: HR Systems & Data, Learning & Organisational Development, HR Partnering, and HR Operations. This role is part of the HR Operations team, which delivers high-quality administrative support across the full employment cycle. The team serves as the first point of contact for HR queries from staff and managers and ensures the smooth running of HR systems and processes
The Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and adaptable HR Officer to join our HR Operations team. You will support a wide range of HR functions including recruitment, induction, reward, payroll, and policy, contributing to the delivery of a professional and responsive HR service across the University.
The Person
You are highly organised, detail-oriented, and process-driven, with strong problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with proficiency in IT and a commitment to confidentiality. You should be a capable administrator with a genuine interest in HR and a willingness to learn. Prior HR experience is desirable but not essential.
