UCL Careers provides careers education to current students, graduates and staff of UCL, as well as recruitment solutions for employers. UCL Careers provides a ‘core’ service for students as well as bespoke support within some academic areas, including UCL’s School of Management (SoM).
About the role
Many UCL School of Management students aspire to work in the financial sector, with some choosing to study specialist programmes like MSc Business Analytics and MSc Marketing Science.
The Senior Employer Engagement Officer: Technology, Analytics & Marketing Specialist will form part of a team of Employer Engagement professionals and Careers Consultants, and be responsible for leading the planning and development of a suite of employer/alumni activities for students looking to work in Data/Analytics, Technology or Digital Marketing. They will manage and develop relationships with employers our students aspire to work for, and work with them to devise and facilitate activities that will support our students to understand the latest information on the opportunities available, and to prepare them to excel in the recruitment process. They will also collaborate with academics to identify opportunities for employer activity to be integrated into the curriculum.
About you
In order to deliver the specialist knowledge required for SoM students, the role holder must have corporate experience working in Data/Analytics, Technology, Digital Marketing, HR / Recruitment in one of the above sectors, or significant experience and working knowledge supporting these specialist sectors gained from a similar role in another university or business school.
This is an exciting role working with an international student body and a range of stakeholders across UCL School of Management, UCL’s alumni community and with UK and international graduate employers. The role holder should enjoy trialling new initiatives, working in an environment of change and growth, and have a passion for supporting the career development of others.
