About us
Our Research and Impact Services (RIS) department supports the full research lifecycle – from funding applications and project delivery to knowledge exchange, impact, and commercialisation. As a Business Partnerships and Knowledge Exchange Manager, you’ll be in a pivotal role at the heart of this work, enabling our Knowledge Exchange (KE) Strategy to maximise KE income and reputation.
As our Business Partnerships & Knowledge Exchange Manager, you will:
About you
You will be responsible for building relationships and identifying funding opportunities to support Faculty/School Knowledge Exchange plans.
You will develop collaborative projects (including Knowledge Transfer Partnerships) between businesses and academics, securing income for these knowledge exchange activities. This will often involve preparing funding proposals for research projects that are fully funded by external organisations or via a competitive research grant scheme. You will also host workshops and events that inform and promote knowledge exchange activities as well as encourage introductions among internal staff and potential external partners.
